Five in five is a series of five questions for me to answer and then pass the baton on. I do love a questionnaire that makes me think so here it goes.
1. How long have you been blogging and why did you start.
I started blogging while I was on maternity leave. I went home to Ireland with my two boys who were then a newborn and a three year old. I knew it would be many years if ever that I would have such a great amount of time with my family again. I wanted to remember the lazy days we had amongst the green fields ,gazing at the enduring granite mountains surrounding us. When I returned back to Perth I continued to use my blog to record my everyday life. I am amazed I am still here a year later, it never really had a plan but my blog has grown to be a place I love.
2. If your wardrobe could talk what would it say about you and tell us about your favourite or most worn item.
Oh my goodness my wardrobe would say I have lots of clothes but I don’t have anything to wear. There is lots of colour in there a change from my Irish wardrobe which used to be mostly black. I think I know what colours suit me and I stick to them, black, purple, coral, dark greens. I try and keep these colours together in the wardrobe as it is so much easier to find things. I definitely need to edit it. Since attending Nikki’s Styling you talk “If it does not make you feel fabulous chuck it” I have been keeping this in mind lately and its a fantastic rule. My most worn item I really have to think about this one. I am not sure if I have one. I change my clothes every day and I dress according to how I feel I like wearing dresses in Summer a dress you can throw on where nothing else needs to be matched. In winter I love skinny jeans and leggings with long tops.
3. What’s your idea of a perfect date night.
Dinner probably a good Italian or Indian. Red wine. Lots of interesting and inspiring conversation. Maybe a dance to some funky tunes. Followed by a stroll on the beach a full moon and balmy air. No sense of time just a starry night. Wow I’m dreaming !!!
4.What’s on your worth casing list.
A meditation course, photography course, and maybe a writing course. Oh and maybe some time to do it all. I also want to fit a Phd in there too.
5. If you had a theme song what would it be and why.
Wow what a hard question. I think it would have to be my favourite “Stairway to Heaven” Led Zepplin 1971. I have loved it since I was a teenager escaping to my room to “make tapes” and discover the music greats as if they were brand new.
So there are my answers to some interesting and fun questions.
Now I need to nominate 5 other bloggers. They only have until the 14th of December so I apologise for not giving you a whole lot of time.
If you have already been nominated get to lovely ladies.
Once again thank you to Leanda your support is always so generous.
What would your wardrobe say about you and what would your life’s theme song be??
